In 1962, God spoke to Morris Cerullo and said, "Son, build me an army." From that divine mandate emerged the Morris Cerullo World Evangelism School of Ministry which has impacted the lives of 1.5 million leaders around the globe who have been trained to be part of God’s Victorious Army.
From its inception, the School of Ministry was a revolutionary, cutting-edge concept of training national Christian leaders to minister to their own nations: Africans reaching Africans, Asians reaching Asians, Latin Americans reaching Latinos, etc.
What made the School of Ministry a school with a difference was its emphasis on heart knowledge instead of head knowledge and on the demonstration of the power of God instead of passive learning. God empowered Morris Cerullo to transfer the same anointing that rested upon his life and ministry to the students. When these trained leaders returned to their nations, their ministries literally exploded as the new anointing flowed through them in salvation, healing, deliverance, and the prophetic.
For several years, the School of Ministry was conducted in San Diego, California, but due to the multiplied requests for training from around the world, it became a “school without walls” when Morris Cerullo took this vital ministry training to the nations. Over the years, Morris Cerullo has literally crisscrossed the globe, conducting powerful School of Ministry sessions and raising up an army that is impacting entire nations.
Now, in a fresh mandate from God, Morris Cerullo is taking the School of Ministry to a new intensified level by establishing The Elijah Institute. This program will take key nationals who have been trained through the School of Ministry and equips them with resources, training, and anointing to raise up young Elishas to reach their nations with the Gospel.
The biblical mandate is drawn from 1 Kings 19:15-19 where God instructed Elijah to transfer his anointing to the young man, Elisha: "...So Elijah...found Elisha...and cast his mantle upon him." (Portions of 1 Kings 19:19)
As these anointed, proven Elijahs raise up young Elishas, train them, and transfer the anointing to them, the mantle of Morris Cerullo will be perpetuated in an ever-increasing, continuing cycle of intensification.
